What are the next steps in securing you for our wedding date?

Once you have confirmed your date and are ready to book, our team will send you a digital proposal that outlines all included in your wedding package. Once you have confirmed everything is correct, you will electronically sign and send back to us. At that time, you will also make a 25% deposit payment through a secure online portal that accepts any major credit card. Once both of these are complete, you will be officially booked! Be on the lookout for something coming in the mail to kick off this amazing, fun journey to "I Do"!  

As we get closer to our date, is there anything we need to do to better prepare? 

Once you book, I will send you a comprehensive guide that will help you better prepare for your wedding and know exactly what to expect with your photography coverage. From first looks, to sample photography timelines, to family photo lists, you'll be able to educate yourself on all items related to photography for your wedding.

Is editing included in your pricing?

Yes. All images are fully edited for lighting, color, slight skin softening and minor photoshop edits. Given the large amount of photos you receive, additional, more complex photoshop requests may require an extra charge. Please be aware of tan-lines and burns, as sometimes these edits become difficult and time-consuming - delaying the return of your photos. Our team does their best to catch any untucked shirts or stray hairs during picture time, but somet things may go unnoticed. Please note, fixing these issues post-edit takes extra time. We do not sell RAW images. 

When you book an associate photographer, you are getting the same experience you would if you booked with Iris as your photographer - the planning, client relations, timeline building, phone calls, delivery of images, etc. When we get closer to your date, Iris will connect you with your photographers (2), so you have the opportunity to schedule a phone call or FaceTime. They will be cc'd on all the finalized planning, so they are on the same page. If you are in town, we can even schedule a meeting with your lead photographer, whom you will know who it is at the time of booking. We have portfolios for all our associate photographers, which is located on our website. We pick your team based on availability. They all have worked together over the years, so they are a well-oiled machine for you! Most all of our associates have their own independent businesses, but their edit style makes their final product look very different than what Iris Moore Photography delivers, so we do not share their personal social medias to avoid any confusion.

When is my final balance due?

Your final balance is due 30 days out from your event. You will be automatically reminded by the electronic invoicing system we use. 

Is there a limit to how many photos you will shoot?

It's difficult to give an exact number because certain parts of your day are being shot at varying rates. But, on average, we deliver around 100 images per hour. You will receive images fully edited and ready to print.

How are my images delivered?

Images are delivered to clients through an online private gallery. You will have the ability to download and share all images in their full resolution format - no downsizing occurs at all, so you can print as big as you would like. 

What is a private online gallery?

Is there a requirement to purchase anything additional from you, such as a photo album or prints?

If my wedding is tiny, do I still need 2 photographers? Can I do less than 6 hours?

How soon will I get my pictures back?

We notice your prices are higher than other photographers in town. what makes you different?

Your private online gallery is an online platform for you to view, share AND download all your digital images. It's a very user-friendly program that allows clients to download all the images from their wedding, directly to their personal device(s). The images are full-resolution, ready to print files. The program is almost like a high-end dropbox, but it is desinged for wedding photography. You can download individaul photos, or all the photos at once. There's even web-sized versions of photos that can be downloaded, so all your social media posts look great! You can share the link to the gallery to anyone you'd like, and they can also download any photos they like (easier that having to burn CDs or send USBs to family/friends). 

Nope! Some packages include albums. You have 1 year to complete your album before you have an extra $150 charge (prices increase yearly with our manufacturer). We will send you a reminder to complete your album before your due date. If you do not have an album included with your package, you still have the option to purchase one. Please note, album pricing is discounted when included in the package. Additionally, we do offer prints and all different types of products, which are directly available through your online gallery. However, you have the rights to print through any company. 

Absolutely! We encourage couples to pick a package that fits with their initial budget if they know they want to get on the books. You can upgrade at anytime. This usually happens after we send out our photography questionnaire (60 days out), which will give you a better idea of all the things you want captured throughout your event.

We know how excited everyone is to get their wedding photos back and relive their day! So, our team works VERY hard to return photos as quickly as possible. To hold you over, we deliver a sneak peek gallery within the first 2 weeks or so of your wedding. This includes around 100-150 images - plenty to hold you over an highlight your day! However, because we value the quality of your images, it takes us around 10-12 weeks to get your fully edited gallery delivered.

I don't need an engagement session or welcome party/rehearsal coverage. Do you offer discounts or wedding day coverage substitutions?

Can I add or change my package after I book?

With destination weddings, travel is usually involved. So, some couples make a whole trip out of their wedding with multiple events taking place throughout a week's span. This package is covers all your events (room to work on customizing if necessary) at a very discounted rate on hourly coverage combined. This package is also tailored for couples that have a reception that extends past 11pm or are interested in "after party" pictures downtown. 

All of our packages are designed to best fit the needs of our clients based on the countless number weddings we have shot. While we don't offer substitutions for engagement/rehearsal coverage, we do offer couples the ability to use the coverage as a separate portrait session (anniversary shoot, family, maternity, etc.) within two years of your wedding date. You also have the option to order two 16x20 framed prints instead, as well.

I am getting married outside of Key West. Do you travel? Is there a fee?

All of our packages include a second shooter. We do not offer any wedding day coverage without two photographers. The second shooter not only acts as a photographer, but also as an assistant, direction and right hand man to the lead.
